Episode 3: Above the Law for Xbox One
Javier faces a family conflict in Richmond while the group questions New Frontier’s true intentions. Clementine and other confidants watch his choices closely. The episode focuses on the question of whom you can trust in a fragile community.
Separate Xbox One story DLC
Microsoft lists Episode 3 as a separately purchasable add-on with its own Microsoft Store ID BVXS9XRSV1N4 and release date Mar 28, 2017. To play it you need the native Xbox One app The Walking Dead: A New Frontier – Episode 1. The separately offered Season Pass for episodes 2–5 gives access to this chapter. The compatibility of the Xbox One version with Xbox Series X|S is not a separate native Series release.
Choices instead of a big action campaign
As in the whole season, it is about dialogue, exploration and consequential moral choices. The game is offered with English voice acting and German on-screen text. The cover is the official 3rd episode artwork from the PlayStation Store for the same product; a platform-specific Xbox cover is not needed if the image illustrates the same story expansion. The official episode trailer is the same story trailer for the console versions.
