Thief: Deadly Shadows for the original Xbox
As master thief Garrett, you sneak through a gloomy city where nobility, guilds and mysterious orders fight for control. After the events of the first two Thief games, Garrett is drawn into a prophecy, while he continues to pick locks, secure valuable loot and get through guarded estates unseen.
Sneak instead of fighting head-on
Light and sound determine whether guards notice you. Arrows, lockpicks, blackjacks and other thieving tools open different routes through the missions. The city hub areas connect contracts, merchants and additional break-ins. A feature of the third part is the choice between first-person and third-person perspective.
Original Xbox version from 2004
This version was released in 2004 for the original Microsoft Xbox, at the same time as the Windows version. In Europe it came out on June 11, 2004. It is not a standalone Xbox One or Xbox Series release; possible backward compatibility does not make it a new native version. The historical European edition offered English voice-over and German subtitles. A separate expansion DLC or a Deluxe edition with different content is not documented for the game.
