Gameplay
The adventure switches between two play styles: in the exploration sections, three-dimensional rooms are examined from a 360-degree perspective using point and click. Information you collect then helps you judge the residents more accurately.
In the visual novel sections, response options shape how encounters unfold. Some individual decisions can end the story immediately. Characters react with animated facial expressions during conversations.

Relationships and dialogue
Akira gets to know his housemates not only through conversations. Clues from the environment open up further ways to interpret their statements and reactions. The choice of words has consequences: upset a character or reveal too much about them, and you can fail.
This mix of investigation and dialogue choices forms the core of the story. The publisher describes the characters as headstrong and their personal stories as an important part of the game.
