A-Train 9 PRIME LINE

A-Train 9 PRIME LINE is the new PC edition of ARTDINK's city-building and railway management simulation. As the president of a railway company, you plan routes, build stations and roads, and develop the city around your own transport network.

The international Steam version releases on Dec 9, 2026. The Japanese product page lists Dec 10, 2026 for around noon Japan time. Japanese and English are supported.

A-Train 9 PRIME LINE is announced for PC via Steam. The simulation is designed as a single-player game.

In Game Mode, the city grows under economic constraints: routes, stations, timetables and investments must be planned with limited capital. Construction Mode largely lifts these financial restrictions and is aimed more at players who want to build freely on track networks and city layouts.

Tracks and roads can be laid with curves and gradients. Alongside network planning, developing new city areas and various camera perspectives are core to the simulation.

Your own vehicles from A-Train9 TRAIN CONSTRUCTION can be imported and shared or downloaded via the Steam Workshop. The international Steam version lists 243 JR vehicles, so its vehicle roster differs from the Japanese edition. Train formations can include up to 16 cars.

According to the official website, around 600 buildings and other objects are available for design. Trains and the city can be viewed from, among other perspectives, driver's cab, window and freely placed cameras.
