Gameplay

You explore labs, storage rooms and dark corridors of a military facility. New enemies keep pouring out of teleporters. Instead of cover-based tactics, the game focuses on movement, sustained fire, explosive weapons and deliberately destroying the sources of the monsters.

DLCs and expansions

The two PC expansions Fight for Life and The Experiment each add five new missions. Fight for Life takes you into a research centre where a special substance must be rescued from the monsters. The Experiment tells of a risky attempt to contain the alien threat with new creatures. Both expansions require the PC base game on Steam.

Monsters and teleporters

The creatures appear in large numbers and press in on your character from several sides. The teleporters play a special role: as long as they stand, more enemies can break into the facility. Hunting down these facilities is an important part of the missions.

Survival mode

Besides the campaign, you can test your endurance in a separate survival mode. Here, the goal is to hold off repeated waves of attacks for as long as possible. New weapons and upgrades become important outside the main missions too.
