Gameplay
Players solve puzzles, examine locations and question characters. George and Nico collect clues, combine items from their inventory and open up new places through conversations and observation. Reflexes or fast fights are not the focus.
The scenes are classically structured: objects and people are selected directly. An integrated hint system helps when a puzzle blocks the story's progress. On mobile devices, the game can be controlled by tapping and swiping.

Story and locations
The trail of the stolen painting begins in Paris. George and Nico move through galleries, apartments and other locations. The murder case develops into a story about religious symbols, centuries-old secrets and the painting's past.
The two main characters bring different perspectives: George often advances by examining objects and questioning people, while Nico uses her contacts and journalistic instinct to uncover new information.
