What is Dear Passengers?

Dear Passengers is a first-person co-op game from FLEXUS about an airline where practically every flight can go off the rails. A crew works together to keep a passenger plane in the air while looking after travelers, securing problematic cargo and dealing with an endless stream of incidents.

The tone is deliberately chaotic and comedic: physics, turbulence and unpredictable passengers turn a routine flight into an improvised crisis meeting in no time. Alongside online co-op, Steam also offers a single-player mode.

Gameplay

The crew shares the work between cockpit and cabin. One player flies the plane, while other crew members look after passengers, keep baggage and cargo under control and respond to problems. Before departure, you can decide which passengers and which cargo come along – more lucrative contracts promise more money, but also carry more risk.

During the flight, dynamic weather, turbulence and physics affect the cabin. Loose objects, difficult travelers and chain reactions from small mistakes make up the real challenge. Dear Passengers therefore relies less on a classic flight simulator and more on coordinated task sharing and improvised crisis management in co-op.

Crew, passengers and cargo

A core feature of the game is the decision of what gets on board at all. Before takeoff, the crew puts together passengers and cargo and then has to live with the consequences of that choice. Higher payouts come with extra trouble, according to the official description – so risk management starts before the flight even begins.
