Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is a science fiction shooter with role-playing elements from Shift Up. Players lead a team of artificially created fighters who are meant to retake the surface after an invasion. The focus is on battles from cover, team composition and the development of individual characters.

The game is free to play and is funded by optional purchases within the game.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE was released for Android and iOS on Nov 4, 2022. Since Feb 15, 2023, there has also been a native Windows version.

The PC version is a standalone port for Windows, not a mobile game run through an emulator.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is available for Windows PCs, Android smartphones and iPhone or iPad. The mobile versions can be installed through the respective app stores. On Windows, the game is offered through its own PC launcher.

Many Nikkes have special burst abilities that trigger extra attacks or support. Using these abilities is coordinated with the other team actions.

The combination of direct aiming and timing special abilities correctly mainly shapes battles against stronger enemies.

New Nikkes can be obtained through the recruitment system. The characters differ in their weapons, special abilities and roles within the team.

Obtained characters can be strengthened through level-ups, skill upgrades and equipment. Collecting and building up the squad forms a lasting part of the gameplay.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE also offers cooperative boss battles alongside the single-player story. Multiple players fight a shared enemy with their selected characters.

The game's focus still lies on your own squad and the progress of the main story.

The story leads from humanity's underground refuges to a surface controlled by hostile machines. Abandoned buildings, destroyed facilities and military sites define the look of the missions.

Between battles, the characters and their relationships are developed further through dialogue and their own stories.

South Korean studio Shift Up developed Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. The global release is published under Tencent's Level Infinite brand.

The game uses drawn characters and animations that are combined with the three-dimensional environment during gunfights.

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE can be downloaded and played for free. The game includes paid offers and a random system for recruiting new characters.

The App Store description explicitly mentions in-app purchases with random items.
