What is Haunted Paws?
In Haunted Paws, two puppies search for their missing owner, Maya. The trail leads to an eerie estate, where puzzling creatures, hidden clues and shared tasks await the pair. LazyFlock combines a gloomy setting with the perspective of small, self-customized dogs. The game is designed from the start for exactly two people, not as a single-player adventure with optional co-op.

Platforms
Announced are PC (Windows via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The Xbox product page explicitly names Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, plus a version optimized for Series X|S. LazyFlock announced both Nintendo generations separately. The studio's currently available FAQ does not yet list the PlayStation and Xbox versions added later. Cross-platform play is not confirmed; the Xbox note on cross-gen multiplayer applies to Xbox generations, not automatically to PlayStation, PC or Nintendo.

Gameplay
Dogs can sniff out hints, dig and bark. The clues found are gathered on a clue board, while the background of the estate gradually emerges from the search for Maya. Some obstacles require coordinated actions from both players; in dangerous sections the puppies must sneak, find cover or flee from creatures. The studio also mentions encounters in which the creatures' past plays a role.

Spooky rather than pure horror
The staging combines friendly dogs with shadows, ghostly figures and occasional jump scares. The developer describes the tone as eerie rather than constantly frightening. This is the studio's own classification and not yet an independent age or intensity rating. Rescuing Maya forms the thread running through the adventure.
