Jurassic World Evolution 2

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a management simulation by Frontier Developments and the sequel to Jurassic World Evolution from 2018. Players build and run dinosaur parks, look after animals, staff and visitors, and respond to breakouts, diseases and other incidents.

The campaign picks up after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Sandbox, Challenge and Chaos Theory are also available as standalone game modes.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 was released on Nov 9, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. On Jul 30, 2026, a native Nintendo Switch 2 version followed as the Complete Edition.

The Switch 2 version bundles the base game with the expansions and content packs released up to that point.

Native versions are available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. PlayStation and Xbox generations are listed separately because each has its own native version.

According to Nintendo, the Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 bundles all DLC released since launch. Nintendo lists eleven content packs and more than 120 dinosaurs and other prehistoric species.

The PC version requires a 64-bit Windows system with DirectX 12. Steam lists the full minimum and recommended hardware requirements.

The campaign picks up after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Chaos Theory turns well-known film setups into playable scenarios. Challenge focuses on management goals under set conditions, while Sandbox allows more open building and customization.
