What is Last Epoch?
Last Epoch is an isometric action RPG by Eleventh Hour Games that combines classic hack-and-slash combat with time travel, deep skill trees and a comparatively manageable crafting system. The journey leads through different epochs of the world of Eterra, whose story unfolds around the eponymous Epoch artifact, the Void and several fallen kingdoms.
Five base classes result in 15 Masteries in total. In addition, there are more than 120 active skills, each of which can be modified through its own specialization trees. This means builds come not only from gear, but also from how individual skills actually work.

Gameplay
At its core, Last Epoch is about fast combat, loot and build development. Every active skill has its own specialization tree, while the 15 Masteries further sharpen the basic playstyle. Crafting relies more on predictable improvements than on pure luck: affixes can be changed in a targeted way before Forging Potential limits further work on an item.
In the endgame, the Monoliths of Fate, among others, lead through alternate timelines with their own enemies, modifiers and rewards. Last Epoch can be played solo or online with up to four players in co-op. For the item economy, the Merchants’ Guild and the Circle of Fortune offer different paths between trading and a stronger self-found focus.
