LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeons

LitGirls: Bookbound Dungeons is a turn-based dungeon RPG by NANAIRO ENTERPRISE and DANGEN Entertainment. The game reimagines characters from classic literature as anime heroines. Alice, Juliet, Dante and Raven are among the announced ensemble. Between expeditions, the group is prepared and developed in the Astral Scriptorum.

The PC version is announced for 2027. DANGEN Entertainment gives the first half of 2027 for Steam. A specific date has not been set yet. Console versions have also been announced, but their target platforms and dates have not yet been specified.

PC via Steam is the first confirmed platform. DANGEN Entertainment has also announced console versions but has not named any specific consoles yet. Accordingly, PS5, Xbox Series or Switch platforms are not yet listed as confirmed here.

Battles play out in turns. Your group faces an enemy formation across four ranks, and each character gets one action per turn. Positioning, abilities and equipment matter just as much as the group's raw strength.

Along with hit points, the game tracks Pathos as a mental state. If HP drops to zero, further hits can lead to a character's death. If Pathos drops completely, the character loses their fighting spirit. Expeditions are therefore explicitly about risk and return: reaching a mission objective is not enough if the group does not bring the recovered resources safely back to the Astral Scriptorum.

On PC, Steam lists at least Windows 11, 8 GB RAM, Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 2000 or newer, a GeForce GTX 1070 and 4 GB of free storage. Recommended are, among others, Core i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600 or newer, as well as a GeForce GTX 2060.

With LOGOS, the group collects powerful words. They can be equipped as passive boosts or used actively in battle. The selection adds another layer of preparation for difficult expeditions, alongside formation, abilities and equipment.

The Astral Scriptorum serves as the base between dungeons. Resources recovered on successful expeditions go into expanding the base and developing the characters. Before the next expedition, the group, skills and equipment are put together there.
