Microsoft Jewel

Microsoft Jewel is a match-3 puzzle game from Microsoft. Same-colored gems are matched to clear tiles, score points and create bonus jewels for stronger chain reactions. The standalone version combines the familiar gameplay with daily challenges, Xbox achievements and synced progress.

Microsoft Jewel's standalone mobile apps launched on Sep 30, 2026 for iOS and Android. A standalone PC version was already available through the Xbox Store at that time. Microsoft calls Jewel the fifth mobile app in its casual games series and the team's first new mobile launch in seven years.

Microsoft Jewel is available as a standalone app on PC, iOS and Android. A Microsoft account lets you sync your progress between the PC app and the mobile versions. The PC version is offered through the Xbox Store; on mobile devices, Microsoft points to the App Store and Google Play.

At its core, three or more same-colored jewels are matched to remove them from the board and score points. Larger combinations create bonus and power jewels that can trigger chain reactions. In challenge mode, collected gems can be used deliberately to build longer rows and stronger effects.

Daily challenges add to the classic high score focus and regularly set new goals.

Microsoft Jewel supports Xbox achievements on mobile devices. With a Microsoft account, achievements are credited to your own Xbox profile. The game also syncs progress between iOS, Android and the standalone PC app.

On PC, Xbox Game Pass members get Premium benefits such as ad-free play and additional bonuses. According to Microsoft, these benefits apply to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on both PC and the mobile versions.

The Xbox Store lists several accessibility features for Microsoft Jewel. These include pausable gameplay, multiple volume sliders, colour alternatives and control options that do not require holding or rapidly repeating button presses. The PC version can also be played with a mouse or touch.
