What is Mihira: The Eternal Arc?

Mihira: The Eternal Arc is a narrative third-person action adventure from Studio Yeoun. It centres on Gargi, who awakens in a palace where the flow of time is broken. Past and present overlap and change paths, dangers and the history of the place.

The game combines exploration, precise melee combat and stealth. The titular Eternal Arc is not only part of the story but also the basis for switching between two versions of the same world.

Gameplay

Mihira focuses on fast but deliberate melee combat. Enemies must be read, attacks parried, heavy blows used at the right moment, and weapons switched depending on the situation. Exploring the palace also plays a central role.

Progress is not only made through combat. Lost fragments of time open deeper paths and change which areas of the world become reachable or understandable.

Past and Present: two versions of the same world

Gargi can switch seamlessly between Past and Present. The same palace exists in both timelines in different states. A switch can restore destroyed rooms, open hidden paths, reveal hazards or create new ways to explore and solve puzzles.

Crowd stealth and Timekeepers

Crowds form their own stealth system. Gargi can blend in with NPCs to stay undetected, follow Timekeepers and create opportunities that open combat does not offer. Steam even describes strategic executions as a way to recover Varunavarta fragments without direct confrontation.
