MONGIL: STAR DIVE

MONGIL: STAR DIVE is a monster-taming action RPG from Netmarble Monster and the modern successor to Monster Taming, released in 2013. At its heart are Cloud, Verna and Nyanners, who travel through a world of humans, monsters and various peoples.

The game combines cinematic story sequences with real-time combat and the collection of so-called Monsterlings.

MONGIL: STAR DIVE was released worldwide on April 15, 2026 for PC and mobile. In Japan, Netmarket expands PC distribution in November 2026 with a version via DMM GAMES. A separate pre-registration campaign is planned for this DMM version.

Globally, MONGIL is available on PC, iOS and Android. The PC version runs through the Netmarble Launcher and Epic Games Store; Google Play Games on PC is also supported. The DMM GAMES version will specifically expand PC distribution in Japan in November 2026.

The combat system uses a three-character tag team. Characters are switched in real time and combine their abilities through tag skills. In addition, monsters can be caught, collected and deployed as Monsterlings.

Netmarble regularly expands the game with new episodes, regions, characters and quality-of-life features. For version 1.4 on September 30, 2026, a new main story, the Gabar Islands, the Sanctuary of Elements and new characters are announced, among other things; version 1.5 follows in November.
