Gameplay

Mouthwashing is played from a first-person perspective. The rooms and conversations on board the Tulpar provide clues about the course of the story.

Instead of an extensive combat system, observation, narration and the perception of the characters take center stage.

Graphics and atmosphere

Mouthwashing uses reduced 3D graphics in the style of early PlayStation games. The narrow corridors of the freighter and distorted images heighten the oppressive feeling.

The graphic style is closely tied to the narrative. Details in the environment can help place the events on board.
