What is Moylo?

Moylo is a hand-drawn 2D action game from Bugle Duck. It centers on melee combat, challenging boss battles and a gloomy cartoon world shaped by eternal night and the shadow of death.

The eye-catching rubber hose art style is bound to remind you of Cuphead, but this is not an MDHR project: Moylo is developed and published by Bugle Duck.

Hand-drawn rubber hose animation

Characters, enemies and environments are, according to Bugle Duck, drawn entirely frame by frame. Stylistically, Moylo draws on the rubber hose animation of the 1930s and 1940s and combines elastic cartoon aesthetics with a much darker fantasy world.
