Nivalis Nights

Nivalis Nights is a cyberpunk life simulation from ION LANDS, the studio behind Cloudpunk. Instead of driving through Nivalis as a courier, you build your own life in the vertical metropolis: with businesses, apartments, relationships and days you plan yourself.

Nivalis Nights released on September 29, 2026 for Windows PC via Steam. A release on the Epic Games Store has been announced for a later date; it still counts as the PC version.

At launch, Windows PC is the only confirmed native platform. The Steam version supports single player, Steam achievements, Steam Cloud, Family Library and full controller support. The Epic Games Store is set to follow later; it is also the PC version.

Days in Nivalis can be split between work, leisure and relationships. Players start with a noodle stand and can later run restaurants and nightclubs. Ingredients can be bought or grown, apartments can be furnished, and the city can also be explored by boat. Fishing, mini-games and a chess tournament round out everyday life.

For 1080p at 30 FPS on very low settings, Steam lists at least a Core i5-11600K or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1660 Super, RTX 3050, Radeon RX 6600 or Intel Arc A750 with 6 GB VRAM. Recommended for 1440p at 60 FPS on high settings are a Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 5 7600, plus an RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 7800 XT with at least 12 GB VRAM. An SSD and around 42 GB of free storage are required.

The open cyberpunk city stretches from the sea to the upper levels of the metropolis. A dynamic weather and day-night system accompanies everyday life. At the same time, Nivalis is not a pure cozy setting: CorpSec checkpoints, curfews and a serial killer form the dark backdrop of the story.

Economic progress starts with a small noodle stand and can lead to restaurants and nightclubs. Relationships with the city's residents develop in parallel; friendships, rivalries and romances are a permanent part of the life sim system. Competition can also be influenced, if need be through sabotage during the curfew.
