Gameplay

You travel with a small crew through a star system full of asteroids, trading posts and old facilities. Between narrative encounters, you decide which destinations you can reach with your limited supplies. The game world is opened up via a star map, while short exploration sections and dialogue drive the story.

OPUS does not focus on fast reflex combat. Decisions on the journey, discovering new places and the connections between its characters are in the foreground.

Why the star songs are so sought after

The mysterious Lumen asteroids are a major reason for the conflicts in Thousand Peaks. Eda hears their special vibrations, which allows the crew to find places that remain hidden to others. Lumen is not only a target of the treasure hunt but part of the story about the consequences of power and exploitation.

Sound puzzles in ancient asteroid temples

The search leads to temples and locked gates. To move on, Jun matches musical patterns with the sound of the star songs. The tasks are deliberately easy to access and form short breaks between exploration and dialogue.
