OZARK

OZARK is a short, story-driven 2.5D action horror game by ALTER-BOY. After a crash landing in a remote mountain region in northern Canada, the player follows the signal of a missing partner into a seemingly abandoned facility where macabre human experiments once took place.

OZARK surprisingly released on Oct 1, 2026 for PC. The release was announced during the 28 Games Later Horror Showcase and unlocked immediately.

OZARK is available for Windows PC via Steam. Online co-op is implemented via Steam Remote Play Together.

The game combines side-scrolling 2.5D action with gunfights, exploration and horror. The campaign is designed for a compact playthrough of roughly three to six hours. It can be played solo or in local co-op with a friend. Items can be shared while both players explore the facility together.
