Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum is a dark adventure with puzzles and role-playing elements. A young woman wakes up with no memory in an unfamiliar mansion. Only her pocket mirror stays with her as she explores rooms, meets unusual residents and searches for her identity.

AstralShift and VisuStella developed this revised version, and KOMODO published it. Exploration, conversations and decisions are more central than combat.

Pocket Mirror ~ GoldenerTraum was released for PC on May 19, 2023. According to KOMODO, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions followed on October 21, 2026.

The horror adventure is available for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The console versions were released in October 2026. The PC version is available on Steam, among others.

Players explore a winding mansion and piece together clues about its history. Rooms hold puzzles, hidden connections and encounters with residents whose intentions are not always clear. Progress requires careful observation and combining the information you find.

The Windows version requires at least Windows 10 64-bit and 1 GB RAM. Steam lists an Intel Core i3-4340 or a comparable processor, an OpenGL-capable graphics card with 1 GB video memory and at least 1280 × 768 pixels.

The main character searches the mansion for her past. Behind locked doors, unusual encounters and seemingly fairytale places lies a menacing story. The pocket mirror accompanies her as she searches for clues that could explain her identity.

Decisions can lead to different endings. If you want to see other paths, you can start the story again and change conversations or actions. Replaying the story is therefore part of the game's concept.

In the mansion, the main character meets a number of eccentric residents. Conversations reveal clues and show the stories behind fairytale facades. The characters' reactions influence which parts of the plot are revealed.

The PC version offers German on-screen text and subtitles. English, Japanese, French, Italian and other languages are also supported. A spoken dialogue version is not listed on Steam.

The game combines detailed two-dimensional locations with illustrated characters. Warm colors, ornate rooms and fairytale motifs meet eerie situations. The soundtrack accompanies exploration of the game world.

With New Game+, you can replay chapters you have already reached. This lets you try out different decisions.
