What is RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike?

RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike brings the arcade coin pusher into a single-player roguelike. Coins fall into a machine, knock other coins and trigger scores. Between rounds, you choose new coin types and items that change the next run.

The title is developed by Doraccoon and published by Playstack. Its appeal lies not only in physically pushing coins, but in deliberately building effects that can reinforce each other.

Steam lists the game for Windows and macOS. The announced consoles are PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. Gameplay

In each round, the player drops coins onto a moving platform. Their position and the physics help decide which pieces fall into the ejection chute and trigger points or other resources. A seemingly simple machine becomes a strategy challenge: building your coin pool should match the effects you have acquired.

Gradually, other coins and items enter the machine. This can create chain reactions that significantly change a round. The game combines the random-based arcade machine with repeated runs and decisions about your own set.

Coin types and interactions

The official examples show how different coins work together: a seed coin and a water coin create a money tree in the machine. A cat coin hunts rat coins and generates extra tickets. Multipliers boost scores, while explosive coins push larger amounts forward at once.

Steam lists 150 different coins with special effects. Choosing individual effects is meant to be deliberately matched to other elements in your coin pool, rather than simply dropping as many coins as possible without a plan.

Items, chips and upgrades

In addition to the coins, the current Steam description lists 150 items that can, for example, multiply points, generate further coins or influence the machine. Coins can be fitted with special coatings to boost their effects.

Your choice of upgrades changes how a run unfolds. This makes the order of rewards and how they combine with coins you already have a lasting part of your strategy.

Six characters with their own coin sets

Steam describes six playable characters. Their themed coin sets steer strategy in different directions. The Raccoon Manager relies on mathematical combinations and high multipliers, while the Biologist uses effects built around animal coins.

Each character switch therefore affects not only the look, but also the range of possible reactions and how you plan a run.

Difficulty and endless mode

The PC description lists eight difficulty levels and an endless mode. A run can either be measured against set goals or extended with no fixed end.

The selection of coins and upgrades means the possible combinations differ between runs. Specific success rates or typical run times cannot be reliably derived from the store description.
