Silver Pines is a side-scrolling survival horror metroidvania with 2.5D graphics. As private detective Red Walker, you investigate the disappearance of musician Eddie Velvet in a remote American small town.

Story and setting
Private detective Red Walker is called to Silver Pines to find the missing musician Eddie Velvet. The town seems almost deserted, but his search gradually uncovers traces of a dark past. The story combines a crime plot with eerie encounters and surreal horror.

Exploration and survival
The city is not freely accessible from the start. Tools and better weapons open up additional doors and paths. Along the way, you need to combine clues and solve puzzles.
The limited inventory size adds pressure: every cartridge and healing item uses up scarce supplies. According to the publisher, large enemies are also a lasting part of the game design.

Language and game modes
Steam lists English voice audio as well as German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese interfaces and subtitles, among others. A full German voice-over is not listed there.
