Four self-created adventurers
You design each of the four group members individually and set their class, background and traits. The characters take on different roles, such as melee fighter, healer or spellcaster. Their personalities affect how the group behaves in conversations.

Height differences and environment
Solasta's battlefields are three-dimensional. Chasms, raised positions, cover and destructible elements can decide a fight. Climbing, jumping and flying open up routes that would not be possible on a flat battlefield.

Light and darkness
Lighting conditions affect exploration and combat. Torches and spells light up dark rooms, but can also alert enemies. Some creatures have darkvision, while others are sensitive to light. A good position alone is therefore not always enough.

Online co-op for four players
The campaigns can be played alone or online with up to four players. In co-op, each player controls their own party members. On PlayStation, online play requires a matching PlayStation Plus subscription. According to the PlayStation description, the host can share their own expansion content with fellow players.
