Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN

Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN is the direct sequel to Stellar Blade and is being developed by the original team at SHIFT UP. The game picks up after the events of the first part and introduces Evie as a new main character.

SHIFT UP describes BLOOD RAIN as the next chapter of the series. The reveal trailer consists of in-game footage and shows Evie in a much denser, cyberpunk-style city.

Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN currently has no release date and no release window. When announcing the project in June 2026, SHIFT UP described it as still in an early development phase.

SHIFT UP has not officially confirmed any target platforms for BLOOD RAIN so far. The studio is handling publishing itself and plans to announce platforms and a date at a later time. That the reveal trailer was recorded on PC is not a platform confirmation.

Evie deliberately sets herself apart from Eve in terms of gameplay. In the reveal material, she mainly fights in melee with fists and gauntlets, while other weapons are hinted at later. Parries, dodges and quick counters remain part of the action-oriented core.

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, Director Kim Hyung-tae explained that BLOOD RAIN is meant to develop the story of the original Stellar Blade more finely and clearly. Those who played the predecessor should recognize additional connections; at the same time, the sequel should also work for newcomers.
