STORY OF SEASONS: Your Wonderful Life brings farm and family life in Forgotten Valley back as a standalone mixed reality version. Instead of managing fields, animals and buildings only through classic menus and controller actions, the new version is designed to bring the environment into your own space and to rely entirely on natural hand movements.

The core stays familiar: farm fields, care for animals, sell produce, get to know villagers and build a family over several years.

Release is announced for Spring 2027. Marvelous and Grounding have not yet announced an exact date.

Confirmed for Meta Quest 3 and the new Meta VR Glasses. The product page on the Meta Store lists the version as a standalone mixed reality experience.

In Forgotten Valley, you farm fields, look after cows and sheep, and sell produce. There is also fishing, mining, requests from villagers and building relationships in the village.

According to Meta, the mixed reality version can be played entirely with hand tracking. Buildings can be lifted and opened with your hands, fields can be marked directly with your fingers, and many everyday farm tasks are built as spatial interactions.

Full hand tracking is a core system of the new version, not just an alternative input method. Meta promotes the whole game as playable without a controller. Animal care also gets new mini-games, including milking cows and shearing sheep.

As with the original, the game doesn't follow just a single season. Players spend several years in Forgotten Valley, developing their farm, deepening relationships, getting married and watching their family change over time.
