Gameplay
The game combines classic 3D platforming with exploration and collection tasks. The Grinch uses Rocket Skates, a Jetpack and the Snowball Maker to overcome obstacles, reach hidden paths and take out enemies. In local co-op, a second player takes control of Max; both characters combine their abilities on the way through the levels.
