Titan Quest II

Titan Quest II is an action RPG by Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic. The sequel returns to a world shaped by Greek mythology: Nemesis, the goddess of retribution, meddles with the threads of fate and forces you to stand against her order.

Instead of a randomly assembled game world, Grimlore relies on a hand-built campaign with ancient temples, coasts, caves and mythical places. Alongside well-known creatures from Greek myth, the focus is on exploration, hidden paths and encounters with gods.

Titan Quest II has been available on PC in Early Access via Steam and the Epic Games Store since Aug 1, 2025. The full release is announced for Jan 19, 2027. On that day, version 1.0 is set to launch simultaneously for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Early Access lets Grimlore Games develop content, game balance, technology and quality-of-life features together with the community. The roadmap has already been expanded since launch with new regions, masteries, multiplayer and crafting.

The Early Access version runs on Windows PC. Native versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be added at full release on Jan 19, 2027. A version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch is currently not announced.

Players combine two masteries into their own class and build their individual playstyle from them. Skills can be further specialized through modifiers, while equipment and crafting open up additional synergies.

Combat requires active dodging, countering and targeted use of skills. Enemies appear in different groups and roles that can support each other. Rituals also let you adjust the difficulty more closely to your own preferences.

Titan Quest II supports online co-op alongside solo play. The campaign remains focused on exploration, secrets and hand-built areas rather than a purely random level structure.

The current PC requirements call for at least 16 GB RAM, a graphics card with 8 GB VRAM and an SSD with 50 GB of free storage. 32 GB RAM and a GPU in the RTX 3070 Ti, RTX 4070 or Radeon RX 6800 XT class are recommended. As the game is still in development until version 1.0, the requirements may change further before full release.

The class system is based on combining two masteries. This creates hybrid builds that combine active skills, passive modifiers, attributes and equipment. Early Access has been gradually expanded with additional masteries and crafting systems that further broaden this build variety.

The campaign takes place in a stylized version of ancient Greece, with coasts, temples, caves and supernatural locations. Hidden paths, optional encounters, legendary foes and vertically structured areas are meant to reward exploration. Areion also gives you a divine mount for travelling through the game world.
