Touken Ranbu Pazugiri

Touken Ranbu Pazugiri (刀剣乱舞ぱずぎり) is a free-to-play puzzle RPG in the Touken Ranbu universe. The game is operated by EXNOA and is developed together with puzzle specialist NHN PlayArt; Nitroplus is responsible for the world, scenario and character design of the underlying brand.

Players take on the role of an Emakimori who, together with the Touken Danshi, protects distorted stories from interference by the time-travelling army.

Touken Ranbu Pazugiri releases on Sept 24, 2026. The exact date was confirmed at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 and then added to the official website.

Confirmed are PC via DMM GAMES, iOS/iPadOS and Android. The mobile store listings are already available; on PC, the official site requires Windows 11 64-bit or newer.

The core mechanic is built around short, direct puzzle rounds. Small enemies of the same colour are connected by touch or pointer control. The larger the chain, the more powerful the follow-up attack from the assembled Touken Danshi group.

There are also Ranbu-giri phases for quick combo attacks and individual special abilities for the characters. The game combines simple puzzle inputs with team building and RPG progression.

For the PC version, the official website currently lists Windows 11 64-bit or newer as the operating system requirement. Further hardware details have not yet been published.

The new threat targets the world of stories. At launch, three main chapters are playable: Chapter 1 is based on Momotaro, Chapter 2 on Issun-boshi and Chapter 3 on Urashima Taro.

The spin-off places the well-known Touken Danshi in distorted fairy-tale worlds instead of the usual historical mission structure of Touken Ranbu ONLINE.

42 Touken Danshi are announced for release. Five of them – Mikazuki Munechika, Kasen Kanesada, Taro Tachi, Midare Toushirou and Ichigo Hitofuri – are highlighted as rare units with their own special abilities.

Touken Ranbu Pazugiri is free to play and includes optional in-app or item purchases. PC, iOS and Android make up the same product across three native platforms.
