A dead man needs a detective
In The Posthumous Investigation you investigate hand-drawn Rio de Janeiro in 1937. The murdered Brás Cubas himself hires you from the afterlife to solve his death. The story takes the satirical novels of Machado de Assis as its starting point and combines a noir crime thriller with a time loop.
Collect evidence and manipulate time
Watch the daily routines of 14 suspects, talk to witnesses and link their statements on a pinboard. Each day starts over, but your collected knowledge is kept. This lets you influence encounters, uncover contradictions and try new lines of investigation.
