A dead man needs a detective
In The Posthumous Investigation you investigate a hand-drawn Rio de Janeiro from 1937. The dead Brás Cubas hires you yourself to solve his murder. The unusual crime story combines black humor and the literature of Machado de Assis with a time loop.
Collect evidence and rewind the day
You watch the routines of 14 suspects, question witnesses and use their habits to find new clues. After each day you start again, but keep your findings. On a pinboard you connect discoveries and statements, reconstruct events and develop your own theories. Choices and different accusations shape your interpretation of the story.
