Fakin’ It XL for Nintendo Switch 2 is a standalone party game from Jackbox Games, announced with bluffing, interrogations and funny misunderstandings. Three to eight people can take part. While almost all players read the same instruction on their phones, the faker does not know the task. They must blend in and justify their answers in the subsequent interrogation.
New challenges for the whole group
Fakin’ It XL brings back familiar tasks from earlier Jackbox games, but adds the new game variants Emojional Damage and Thumb Luck. Whoever exposes the faker wins points. If the faker manages to survive several interrogations undetected, their convincing bluffing is rewarded.
Play without extra controllers
A host starts the game, and the other participants join via a browser on a smartphone or tablet. Jackbox has also developed a mode for remote players, whose avatars perform certain gestures. According to the manufacturer, a match lasts about 25 minutes; the announced language version so far is English.
Switch 2 release date still to be confirmed
The developer lists 2026 as the release year for Nintendo Switch 2, without yet confirming an exact release date or a separate German Nintendo eShop product number. The Nintendo launch follows the first PC, PlayStation and Xbox release in November. The version is announced as a separate game and not as DLC for The Jackbox Party Pack 3.
