Fakin’ It XL for Nintendo Switch brings Jackbox’s bluffing party game to the hybrid console as a standalone version. In a round with three to eight people, all but one player receive the same secret task on their smartphone. The faker does not know the task and must adjust their reactions so skillfully that the group does not notice their ignorance.
Together in the same room or joining online
The game adds new question types and a remote play mode to the original Fakin’ It mode from The Jackbox Party Pack 3. With Emojional Damage, participants answer questions using emojis, while Thumb Luck asks for quick ratings with thumbs up or down. For players joining by video call, avatars perform the necessary gestures. Only the host needs the game; all guests play via smartphone or other browser devices.
Switch release announced
Jackbox Games has announced Fakin’ It XL for Nintendo Switch in 2026. The Switch version is to follow only after the launch on PC, PlayStation and Xbox; an exact release date or a separate German Nintendo eShop product number is not yet confirmed. The game is being promoted with English text and English voice-over.
