Windbound – Ancestral Equipment expands the Nintendo Switch version of Windbound with three items from Kara’s past. The equipment pack includes the Ancestral Garb, the Ancestral Paddle and the Ancestral Knife, which remind Kara of her tribe’s craftsmanship and its seafaring ancestors.
Three relics for Kara’s adventure
The garb is traditional clothing once worn by warriors and priests. The wooden paddle is meant for trips across the island seas, while the knife has a glowing blade made from special sea shards. The items belong to the existing game and do not replace a separate campaign; using the pack requires Windbound for Nintendo Switch.
Standalone eShop add-on
The DLC was released on Aug 28, 2020 as a standalone Nintendo eShop item. It is not equivalent to an edition of the full game. The Nintendo eShop ID marks the add-on pack, not the base game licence; the displayed Switch 2 compatibility does not establish a separate native Switch 2 version.
