Cat-Astrophy is a fast-paced space roguelite platformer by Heraan Studios. You accompany the abducted cat Polo in search of his memories through a galaxy full of alien enemies, dangerous jump sections and hidden paths. The planets and their challenges change from expedition to expedition, so you always have to plan your route and combat tactics anew.
The focus is on the star cursor, with which Polo performs targeted attacks. New modules change abilities and allow different combinations. Precise jumping, dodging, parkour and combat run in real time. After a character’s permanent death, a new run begins; collected star fragments can, however, be used for permanent upgrades. This is how you gradually uncover the background of Polo’s abduction.
The full PC version is released on Steam for Windows, macOS and Linux on November 5, 2026. Developer Heraan Studios and publisher Dojo System offer a free demo to try out; it is not the same as the full game. The game supports controllers, Steam achievements and cloud saves, as well as German on-screen text and subtitles.
