The Bridge is a hand-drawn physics and logic puzzle game in black and white. In rooms reminiscent of M. C. Escher’s impossible architecture, you guide a nameless figure to the exit. By rotating the entire game world, you change the direction of gravity: ceilings become floors and objects move along new paths.
Puzzles through perspective shifts
The game does without ordinary jumping sections. Instead, you tilt the levels, watch balls, doors and gravity whirlpools, and combine seemingly contradictory paths. A rewind function undoes mistakes so new solutions can be tried without frustration.
48 challenges
After completing the game, the 24 regular levels are supplemented by 24 more demanding alternative puzzles with a different ending. The detailed, hand-drawn lithograph design and calm single-player structure make The Bridge an unusual puzzle adventure.
The PS Vita version
The Bridge was released natively on PS Vita on Aug 18, 2015, following the developer’s announcement. Sony confirmed Cross-Buy and Cross-Save with PS3 and PS4. The PS Vita is therefore its own technical platform for the game, not a PS4 variant delivered via streaming.
