TowerFall Ascension on PlayStation Vita brings the fast archery duels to Sony’s handheld. With careful timing, limited arrows and moving platforms, the characters fight short, intense battles. For single player there is Quest mode with enemy waves.
In local multiplayer, several PS Vita units use an ad hoc connection. The port was released on December 15, 2015, together with the Dark World Expansion. It is a genuine handheld release and not just a Remote Play mode of the PS4.
The game and its expansion were offered as cross-buy products: if you already owned the respective PS4 version, you received the corresponding PS Vita version. New players can experience the various modes without a PS4.
