Acts of Blood

Acts of Blood is a single-player action game by Eksil Team. The title focuses on third-person melee combat, counters and a narrative campaign set in a fictional Indonesian city.

Eksil Team and publisher Big Fan named December 4, 2026 as the planned PC launch at the IGN Fall Fan Fest on October 14, 2026. The official release date trailer also announces versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027, but still without a specific day. Steam initially still showed “Coming soon” after the presentation. The date of the 2024 demo should not be equated with the launch of the full version.

Acts of Blood is announced for Windows PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are also planned as native console versions for 2027. The consoles do not yet have an exact release date. Information on other platforms is not yet sufficiently confirmed.

The core gameplay revolves around close combat with evasive moves, blocks and counterattacks. Sequences of several hits can be chained into combos. Besides the unarmed fighting style, objects and other gear can be used in the locations.

The environment reacts to actions and offers ways to put enemies under pressure through positioning and by interacting with objects. How balanced these mechanics will be in the finished game is still open before release.

Steam lists for the minimum configuration Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-10400F or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 8 GB RAM, GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 and DirectX 11. About 7 GB of storage is required.

A Core i5-12400F or Ryzen 5 5600X, 16 GB RAM and RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT under DirectX 12 are recommended. The store stresses that these details may still change before release.

Acts of Blood is set in Bandapa, a fictional city in Indonesia. Hendra searches for those responsible for his family's fate and gets into conflict with influential figures in the city. The plot gives the successive fights a narrative framework.

Steam describes the title as a linear single-player adventure. A freely explorable, permanently open world or a co-op mode are not part of the announced game according to the product information so far.

Hendra is set to learn new moves and combinations over the course of the campaign. His apartment serves as a retreat between missions and allows changes to his appearance: the developers mention unlockable outfits, tattoos and individual styles.

These are confirmed character features, but not yet evidence of freely selectable character classes or an extensive RPG skill tree. Information on the final number of missions and play time is not available.

A separately listed PC demo appeared on Steam on Nov 1, 2024. It already lets you try the basic combat system. The free test version has its own Steam listing and should be distinguished from the full version announced for Dec 2026.

The stores have not yet confirmed whether saved progress can be carried over later. Also, the feature set of the older demo should not be taken as proof of all features in the finished version.

According to the Steam product page, there is voice audio in English and Indonesian, each with subtitles. German is listed as interface and subtitle language, not as voice audio. A controller setup is listed.

For accessibility features, Steam lists, among other things, colour settings, camera comfort options, separate volume control and the option to play without quick-time events. These are store details before release.

Indonesian studio Eksil Team is developing Acts of Blood. The current Steam and Microsoft Store listings name Big Fan as publisher, a label of Devolver Digital. Earlier store details listed the development team itself as publisher. For the current editorial classification, the newer store version is therefore decisive.

A binding roadmap for later expansions or additional game modes has not been published so far.
