What is Construction Simulator?
Construction Simulator is a construction and business simulation by weltenbauer. Software Development and astragon Entertainment. Players found their own construction company and work their way up on two open maps through extensive campaigns to ever larger contracts.
Its core includes construction site planning, machine operation, company progress and a large fleet of officially licensed vehicles and equipment.

Release
Construction Simulator was released on September 20, 2022 simultaneously for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The newer console versions are listed as separate optimized native versions.

Gameplay
The two main maps are inspired by Germany and the USA and each has its own campaign. Jobs range from infrastructure and road construction to larger special projects. Progress expands your company and your fleet.
The base game and its free updates now include more than 100 jobs and over 90 machines. The vehicle fleet features licensed manufacturers and different machine types for earthworks, transport and other tasks.

DLCs and expansions
After release, Construction Simulator was expanded with larger expansions and machine packs. These include the Airfield, Spaceport and Stadium expansions, as well as packs from manufacturers such as SANY, Liebherr, Kramer, JCB, DAF and Dynapac.
The expansions remain standalone add-on content and are not treated as separate base game platform versions.

Co-op, crossplay and cross-gen
Online co-op supports up to four players. Guests help run the host's company and earn progress for their own profile at the same time. On consoles, the game supports cross-gen within PlayStation or Xbox respectively.
The current PC version also includes crossplay between PC and consoles, as well as voice chat as permanent features.
