F1 24

F1 24 is the official video game for the 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship by Codemasters and Electronic Arts. The racing game depicts the teams and drivers of the 2024 season and combines single-player careers, Grand Prix races, time trials and online modes.

F1 24 was released worldwide on May 31, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The handling model was retuned for F1 24 under the name EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling. Codemasters reworked suspension kinematics, tire model, aerodynamics, engine behavior and setup options. Temperature, brake pressure, rolling resistance and changing track conditions affect the car.

On PC, F1 24 requires at least Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, DirectX 12 and 100 GB free storage. Steam lists a GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB or Radeon RX 480 with 8 GB as the standard minimum graphics card. Recommended are 16 GB RAM and, among others, a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 6600 XT.

The driver career received its biggest overhaul since 2016. For the first time, a career can be started directly with one of the 20 real F1 drivers of the 2024 season, with F2 talents, historical icons or a self-created driver.

A recognition system links race goals, long-term awards, team support and contract negotiations. The two-player career uses the same systems for cooperative or rival seasons.

F1 World brings together Grand Prix, Time Trial and various multiplayer activities. For F1 24, the Fanzone was added, where players join a team and driver through a Podium Pass season and collectively earn points for time-limited competitions.

Besides online PvP, the PC version also supports online co-op, LAN modes and split screen, according to Steam.

For F1 24, Silverstone, Spa-Francorchamps, Lusail and the Jeddah Corniche Circuit were reworked, among others. Codemasters used detailed CAD data for the cars of the ten teams and added radio recordings from real F1 broadcasts, as well as reworked driver and presentation models.

The Steam version supports VR. Steam lists the Meta Quest 2 via Link, Oculus Rift S, HTC Cosmos, HTC Vive Pro, Valve Index and HP Reverb G2 among supported headsets. VR has higher CPU and GPU requirements than the standard minimum profile.
