Golf With Your Friends 2

Golf With Your Friends 2 is a mini golf party game for up to twelve players. Players compete online or locally on imaginative courses, trying to reach the hole in as few strokes as possible.

The sequel, developed by Radical Forge and Team17, brings six new courses, additional game modes and a reworked course editor.

Golf With Your Friends 2 is set to launch as a full game in autumn 2026. The originally planned early access phase has been dropped.

The announced versions target PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. Cross-platform online multiplayer is planned for the sequel.

The earlier Nintendo Switch version of the first game cannot be equated with a standalone Switch version of the sequel.

Six new courses each focus on their own game ideas. These include unusual gravity effects, moving obstacles and routes where the obvious path to the hole is not always the way.

Players still control the direction and power of their shots. The changing environments mean you need to reassess each hole before every attempt.

Up to twelve players can play mini golf together. The sequel supports cross-platform matches and offers both online modes and local play.

Steam also lists shared local game modes and Remote Play Together.

In Chaos mode, courses are played in altered versions. The obstacles and challenges may differ from a classic round.

This mode puts more emphasis on spontaneous adaptation rather than simply memorizing an ideal shot sequence.

The reworked level editor is set to be available on PC and consoles. Players can place obstacles, design their own courses and share them with others.

This means creating your own courses is not limited to the PC version.

The featured courses include a coastal skate park with sand obstacles and urban ramps. Another course runs through a snowy volcanic landscape, where fire and ice meet.

Both environments show how the courses combine different obstacles and spatial ideas.

Golf balls can be personalized with hats, trails and other cosmetic effects. New features include so-called Hole Explosions, which trigger an animation when the ball goes in the hole.

A progression system is set to unlock cosmetic rewards while playing. According to Team17, no extra purchase is required for this.

The Steam version is announced with German menus and on-screen text. Besides German, Steam also lists English, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, among others.
