Hello Neighbor 2

Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealth and puzzle adventure set in the small town of Raven Brooks. As journalist Quentin, you investigate the disappearance of several children and break into the homes of suspicious neighbors.

The sequel expands the original's hide-and-seek gameplay with several walkable houses and AI-controlled residents. You search for clues, combine items and try to stay undetected during your investigations.

Hello Neighbor 2 was released for PC and consoles on December 6, 2022. Some regional console store pages list December 5. Publisher tinyBuild gives December 6 as the global launch date.

The Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the three expansions Back to School, Late Fees and Hello-copter.

Hello Neighbor 2 was released for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The console versions are available as native releases on each platform.

The game is a single-player adventure. The houses and residents of the small town Raven Brooks can be explored without a human co-player.

In Hello Neighbor 2, you play as journalist Quentin, searching for clues about the missing children of Raven Brooks. To do so, you must enter houses, search drawers and find items that open new paths.

Many obstacles can only be overcome by performing actions in the right order. At the same time, you must watch out for residents who can spot you when you break in and chase you. The adventure combines first-person exploration with stealth sections and environmental puzzles.

Three expansions were released for Hello Neighbor 2 on December 6, 2022. Back to School takes you into an abandoned school with a suspicious janitor. Late Fees revolves around the locked-off areas of the Raven Brooks library.

Hello-copter adds a remote-controlled drone with a camera and grappling hook. It opens up new ways to solve puzzles and reach hard-to-access places. All three expansions require the base game and are included in the Deluxe Edition.

The Windows version of Hello Neighbor 2 requires at least 6 GB of RAM, an Intel Core i3 of the fourth generation or AMD Athlon X4 880K, and a GeForce GTX 750 Ti or Radeon HD 7850. Steam lists DirectX 12, Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, and 20 GB of free storage.

The recommended specs call for 16 GB RAM, an Intel Core i5-4760 or AMD FX 9370, and a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX Vega 56. An SSD is recommended.

The residents of Raven Brooks react to Quentin's attempts to scout out their houses. Instead of facing the same person as in the predecessor, you encounter several characters with their own properties and movement patterns.

The game uses AI-controlled enemies that can track you down and force you to flee. That is why successful investigations depend not only on the puzzles, but also on when and how you enter a building.
