Platforms
The main game is available as a separate release for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. A native Xbox One, PS4 or first Switch version is therefore not confirmed. The Switch 2 product is not a mere port of an older Switch version.
Nintendo mentions handheld, tabletop and TV modes as well as motion controls. For PS5, Bethesda describes, among other things, the integration of DualSense features. Technical and control-related differences should therefore not be assumed to carry over to other platforms unchecked.

Puzzles, camera and journal
Exploration rewards close looking at places, objects and written clues. Indy's camera helps document important details and can offer hints through his comments. The journal records discovered traces and tasks.
The puzzle difficulty can be changed independently of the combat settings. Alongside the main path, numerous optional tasks offer further reasons to explore.

Difficulty and display aids
Bethesda documents separate difficulty levels for combat and puzzles, as well as adjustable objective text and mission markers. The highlighting of important objects and the display of incoming attacks can also be adjusted.
Several aids can still be accessed during an ongoing game session. However, this does not mean that the exact input and graphics settings are identical on PC and all consoles.

How Indy uses his whip
Indy's whip is both a movement and combat tool: it helps with swinging, climbing, disarming and keeping enemies at a distance. Other objects in the environment can be used as distractions or improvised weapons.
Players who want to get past enemies unnoticed can rely on sneaking. Direct fistfights are an alternative, but not the only way through guarded areas.

Game series
MachineGames developed the adventure, Bethesda Softworks publishes it. The story was created together with Lucasfilm Games and is set in the Indiana Jones film world. It takes place in 1937 between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.
The Great Circle tells its own story, not a direct playable version of a movie. The plot of the films already released provides context, but is not a gameplay requirement for understanding the central puzzle.
