Little Nightmares III: The Shores

The Shores is the second additional story chapter for Little Nightmares III. Low and Alone travel together through a mirror to a flooded coast. Their goal is a lighthouse whose light guides them through the thick fog.

The chapter continues the journey through the Spiral but does not expand the main story: Bandai Namco describes the two additional chapters of the Secrets of the Spiral Expansion Pass as supplementary stories with new perspectives and horrors.

The Shores was released in Germany and Europe on Sep 30, 2026. The chapter can be bought separately and is also part of the Secrets of the Spiral Expansion Pass. To play, you need Little Nightmares III.

The Shores is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The additional chapter requires the corresponding version of Little Nightmares III in each case.

The coastal region consists of abandoned houses, flooded streets and sewer channels. Low and Alone must get past valves, strong currents, propellers and fully flooded rooms. In diving sections, the available air itself becomes an obstacle.

Leeches inhabit the wet areas; above them looms the so-called Bloodleech Monster, the chapter's central threat. The Shores remains embedded in the co-op structure of Little Nightmares III.

The Shores is the second of two additional story chapters in the Secrets of the Spiral Expansion Pass. The first chapter, The Backstage, takes Low behind the scenes of the Carnevale. The pass also includes the exclusive Ferryman costume set.

If you own the Expansion Pass, you already have The Shores included; Bandai Namco explicitly warns not to accidentally buy the chapter a second time separately.

On PC, The Shores requires Windows 11 64-bit, like the current Steam version of Little Nightmares III. Steam lists the minimum as an Intel Core i5-6500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 1060 or Radeon RX 580 for 1080p at 60 FPS on low settings.

High settings at 1080p and 60 FPS call for a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1600, 12 GB RAM and a GeForce RTX 2080 with 8 GB or Radeon RX 6800.
