LunaReverse

LunaReverse is a dark fantasy visual novel from CYBIRD and Aniplex. It centers on a woman who was once a mage and becomes a demonic figure herself on her quest for revenge. This single-player adventure explores the desire for retribution and its consequences.

CYBIRD and Aniplex unveiled LunaReverse on November 7, 2026 and announced a worldwide release for PC and Nintendo Switch.

LunaReverse is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The game also supports Nintendo Switch Lite, which belongs to the same Switch platform.

At the centre is the path of revenge taken by a former sorceress who herself becomes a demon. The story links her transformation to the question of what awaits her after vengeance. Heaven and darkness are the contrasting images of the first announcement.

LunaReverse is announced as a single-player dark fantasy visual novel. The adventure puts the story and its characters at the centre.

The release is announced with Japanese and English text, as well as Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

CYBIRD is developing LunaReverse, and Aniplex is publishing the game. Hiroto Kuramasu is responsible for concept, direction and production. The writing comes from Tomomi Nakayama and Ichiha of C-Garden, while Ugonba handles character design.

The official title artwork shows a silver-haired woman and a winged, demonic-looking figure in front of a full moon. Tarot cards float between them. A first teaser accompanied the reveal and shows the visual style of the fantasy adventure.
