Magical Girl Witch Trials

Magical Girl Witch Trials is the official English store title of 魔法少女ノ魔女裁判. The mystery adventure by Acacia and Re,AER locks 13 girls in a remote island prison, because each of them is supposed to have the potential to turn into a dangerous witch.

After a murder, protagonist Ema must gather evidence, check statements and, in the ensuing Witch Trial, figure out which of the prisoners actually became the culprit.

The Steam version released on July 18, 2025. The native Nintendo Switch version followed on July 9, 2026.

Magical Girl Witch Trials is available on PC via Steam and on Nintendo Switch. The PC version supports Windows and macOS.

The game switches between story-driven adventure sections, investigations and the namesake Witch Trials. During investigations, crime scenes are searched and witness statements collected. In the trial, contradictions must be uncovered and the suspects' special magical abilities factored into reconstructing the case.

Faulty conclusions can lead to an innocent woman being convicted. With each chapter, new perspectives, backstories and information about the prison, the witches and the girls' past are revealed.

The PC version supports Windows and macOS. On Windows, Steam requires at least Windows 10, a generic dual-core processor, 6 GB RAM, a current DirectX 11-capable GPU and 6 GB of free storage. Recommended are, among others, a Ryzen 7 2700, 16 GB RAM, a GeForce RTX 2060 and 10 GB storage. On macOS, the minimum is Big Sur 11 with 6 GB RAM and Metal-capable graphics; recommended are Sequoia 15, Apple M1 or newer and 8 GB RAM.
