What is Mycopunk?

Mycopunk is a mission-based co-op first-person shooter by Pigeons at Play and Devolver Digital. As the New Atlas Hazard Crew, up to four improvised robots land on a planet infested with aggressive fungal organisms and work through compact missions with changing objectives.

The shooter relies less on fixed class roles than on freely combinable weapon and equipment builds. The result is a deliberately chaotic PvE game that can be played solo, but whose systems are clearly designed for co-op synergies.

Gameplay

In Mycopunk, you combine mods on the upgrade slots of your weapons and equipment. Different arrangements can boost attacks or change your role within the team. Alongside highly offensive combinations, you can also build up healing and support.

Enemies can lose body parts, which other creatures pick up and reuse. Between missions, the robots meet on the spaceship Roach Motel. Ouroboros mode adds roguelike runs to the regular missions.
