Ordinary Oddness

Ordinary Oddness is an open-world action RPG from COSMICPUP STUDIO. In the city of Elysian Skies, floating above the clouds, humans and mysterious beings called Mythoids live side by side. As an investigator, players take on unusual cases and try to understand the background to this coexistence.

Exploration and combat are part of the adventure. The game world combines everyday places with fantastical creatures and areas where the usual rules of the environment change.

Ordinary Oddness was unveiled with a detailed gameplay trailer on Oct 20, 2026. The game is announced for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. On PC, releases are planned through Steam, the Epic Games Store and WeGame.

In Ordinary Oddness, you can switch characters in combat. The combat system combines attacks with blocking, dodging and well-timed counters. Enemies with several combat phases require different tactics.

The first gameplay trailer shows duels with special abilities and battles against large Mythoids.

On PC, Ordinary Oddness requires at least Windows 10 (64-bit), 16 GB RAM and 120 GB of free storage on an SSD. The Epic Games Store lists an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, as well as a GeForce GTX 1060. The recommended configuration calls for Windows 11 and 32 GB RAM.

Elysian Skies is a floating city where humans and Mythoids live together. Its streets, shops and festivals seem familiar, but some residents and places follow different rules. The Mythoids are part of society and not just opponents.

The reveal trailer shows, among other things, a parade and mysterious changes in the city.

In Ordinary Oddness, players run an investigation agency and take on jobs from humans and Mythoids. Initially ordinary requests develop into cases that point to hidden connections in the city.

The story also leads into altered areas of reality. There, memories, places and dangers become jumbled up, while the investigations uncover new clues about the past of Elysian Skies.

Ordinary Oddness uses Unreal Engine 5 for its city and combat scenes. The first gameplay trailer shows densely built streets, floating landscapes and surreal transitions between different environments.

The visual style combines colorful city views with gloomy locations.
