PAC-MAN MUSEUM

PAC-MAN MUSEUM brings together nine games from the history of PAC-MAN in one collection. The title was released in 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and combines classic maze games with action and skill-based variations.

PAC-MAN BATTLE ROYALE stands out: here several players compete directly against each other, rather than just trying to score as high as possible against the ghosts.

PAC-MAN MUSEUM was released in February 2014. In North America, the PlayStation 3 version launched on Feb 25; the Xbox 360 version followed on Feb 26. The official trailer also gives Feb 26 for the PC version on Steam.

The collection was sold exclusively as a digital release.

PAC-MAN MUSEUM was released for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A standalone version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch is not part of this release.

PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ from 2022 is a different collection with an expanded game lineup and its own console versions.

The games use different variations of the classic formula: PAC-MAN collects points and dodges ghosts, while later spin-offs leave the maze or introduce new rules.

You can switch focus at any time between short arcade rounds, skill challenges and high-score competitions. PAC-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION, for example, offers fast matches built around chasing points.

Ms. PAC-MAN was released as additional content for PAC-MAN MUSEUM. Bandai Namco initially offered it free for a limited time.

The character and her own maze game cannot be equated with any of the nine titles included as standard.

Included are PAC-MAN, SUPER PAC-MAN, PAC & PAL, PAC-LAND, PAC-MANIA, PAC-ATTACK, PAC-MAN ARRANGEMENT, PAC-MAN CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION and PAC-MAN BATTLE ROYALE.

This ranges from the early arcade mazes through the side-scrolling PAC-LAND to the competitive multiplayer mode of BATTLE ROYALE.

PAC-MAN BATTLE ROYALE allows shared competitions with up to four players. The collection also offers worldwide leaderboards where players can compare their scores.

Not all nine games support the same multiplayer mode. For shared play, PAC-MAN BATTLE ROYALE is the main option.

In the PAC-Room, you can view characters and items from the PAC-MAN universe. More than 70 collectibles and characters are linked to the animated series PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures.

This room adds an area for collectibles to the game selection.

The PC version offers menus in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Japanese. These language versions belong to the original 2014 release.

PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ was released in 2022 and includes 14 games. New compared to the 2014 collection are, among others, PAC-IN-TIME and PAC-MAN 256. You can also design a virtual arcade with machines and decorations.

If you are looking for the newer collection, you need PAC-MAN MUSEUM+ and not the 2014 game with the same name.
