Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE

Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is a standalone premium action RPG by Netmarble Neo that lets you play through Sung Jinwoo's rise from E-rank Hunter to Shadow Monarch. The game builds on the well-known Solo Leveling story and adds its own adventures created specifically for OVERDRIVE.

Unlike the free-to-play title Solo Leveling: ARISE, OVERDRIVE is designed as a standalone PC and console game.

Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE launches on Nov 4, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Both console versions launch at the same time, at 1 a.m. German time. In North America, due to the time difference, the launch falls on Nov 3.

The PC version launched on Nov 24, 2025 on Steam and the Microsoft Store. Alongside the base game, a Deluxe Edition with additional cosmetic content is available. The Deluxe Edition is not a separate game.

Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is available on PC and launches natively for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov 4, 2026. The PlayStation version supports one player alone and online raids with up to four participants. Online multiplayer on PS5 requires PlayStation Plus.

The PC version is available on Steam and the Microsoft Store. The Xbox Store page for the existing PC version lists only PC and handheld as supported devices. It should therefore not be confused with a standalone Xbox Series Store version.

The focus is on fast third-person combat with weapon and skill combinations. You respond to enemy attacks with precise dodges or perfect parries. A successful counter opens a short window for a counterattack. Jinwoo develops new abilities, crafts weapons and can eventually awaken as the Shadow Monarch.

Alongside the story, there are online co-op raids for up to four players. Groups team up Sung Jinwoo with other Hunters and face powerful enemies together.

The base game can be expanded with the Deluxe upgrade, which adds extra cosmetic content. The Jeju Island Raid Special Pack and a free Christmas costume pack are also sold separately.

This additional content expands the existing action RPG and is not a standalone game.

For the PC version, Steam lists at least Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD equivalent, 12 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 1050, DirectX 11 and 40 GB storage. Recommended are Windows 11, a Core i5-9400 or AMD equivalent, 16 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 2060. An SSD is recommended.

Progression combines combat builds with craftable weapons and a skill tree with several development paths. Materials from fights feed into weapon crafting, while new skills and weapons increasingly specialize your playstyle.

Co-op focuses on raid and boss fights. Up to four players can team up and combine different Hunters and combat styles.

The PS5 version offers separately adjustable volume levels, subtitles for key dialogue and story scenes, alternative button mappings, selectable difficulty levels and a controls overview. In offline situations, the game can be paused.

The PS5 version also supports vibration and trigger effects on the DualSense controller.
